"Annoying!"

The chubby girl rolled her eyes at Gao Ning and turned away, ignoring him. However, it was clear that Gao Ning taking the initiative to greet her had put her in a very good mood.

Gao Ning smiled, unfazed. He pulled out a notebook and began to scribble. Since he had made up his mind, he needed to prepare; he couldn't just kidnap Xia Luo to be his personal milk cow. Wait, actually, that didn't sound like such a bad idea.

As Gao Ning was lost in thought, the door was kicked open with a bang. Xia Luo appeared in the classroom, looking utterly disheveled.

Teacher Wang had arrived at some point and was chatting with Yuan Hua in the front row. Judging by his beaming expression, he was in a fantastic mood. A student on duty was writing on the blackboard, seemingly working on a comprehension problem. The classroom, which had been buzzing with students whispering during self-study, fell instantly silent as Xia Luo burst in.

Xia Luo looked completely bewildered, instinctively wanting to turn back.

Teacher Wang shouted impatiently, "Stop right there! Where is your mother? Didn't I tell you to bring her here?"

"What the..." Xia Luo was stunned.

Teacher Wang’s brows shot up. "What did you say?"

Xia Luo ignored him completely. Staring with dead-fish eyes, as if he had witnessed something impossible, he muttered in a daze, "This... what on earth is going on?"

"Oh, give me a break. Student Xia Luo has lost his memory. Xia Luo, do you even remember your own last name?" Teacher Wang mocked.

The whole class burst into laughter at this remark. Gao Ning watched Xia Luo’s performance with interest, thinking to himself: I didn't expect the plot to start so quickly.

Xia Luo squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head vigorously, as if trying to clear his mind.

Teacher Wang sneered, "Xia Luo, let me tell you, don't try to play games with me. It’s useless. I’ve seen your little tricks a hundred times over, though this amnesia act is quite fresh. We don’t have time to waste on you here. Can you afford to pay for the time you're wasting? Go! Get your mother here right now, get out!"

Xia Luo turned a deaf ear, continuing to walk toward the back of the room. Each step he took felt cautious, as if he were afraid of shattering the world itself.

"My god, this dream is too realistic!"

Ma Dongmei stared blankly as Xia Luo walked toward her. It wasn't until he reached out and pinched her cheek that she cried out, "Ouch! What are you doing?"

Teacher Wang was furious. "Did I tell you to go back to your seat? How did you manage to treat the teacher's words like wind?"

The class roared with laughter again. Teacher Wang was truly agitated. Seeing Xia Luo still staring blankly at Ma Dongmei, he quickly put on his slippers and stormed over in a few strides.

He tapped and pointed with the fan in his hand, shouting, "Did you hear me? Where is your school uniform? Not talking, huh? Playing dumb, are you? Fine, you don’t want to bring your mother? I’ll grant your wish. Solve your own problems. Now, take this love letter of yours and read it to the class. Read it loudly and with feeling! Tell everyone who your darling is!"

Teacher Wang pulled a pink piece of stationery from his pocket and slapped it impatiently onto Xia Luo’s chest. Xia Luo stumbled backward. Ma Dongmei panicked, her face turning bright red as she rushed out of the classroom.

Teacher Wang glanced at her, then said with a tone of frustrated disappointment, "You, look at you, how many people have you hurt without even realizing it? Let everyone hear what the second-biggest fool in our class has to say!"

Xia Luo stood motionless.

"I told you to read it!"

Teacher Wang swung his arm, and the letter flew into the air.

Gao Ning nodded repeatedly, a flash of surprise appearing in his eyes as he watched Teacher Wang. Impressive. Step by step, the tension layered and built up, pushing his opponent to the brink of an explosion, and with that final shout, the protagonist made his grand entrance. This was truly a classic scene for a protagonist's debut.

Xia Luo did indeed explode, lifting his leg and kicking Teacher Wang to the ground.

The class erupted. People swarmed forward. Teacher Wang pointed his fan at Xia Luo, unable to believe it. "You dare hit a teacher?"

"In my dream, do you think I’d let you bully me?"

The scene descended into chaos. Xia Luo struggled to get at the teacher, while the teacher, livid, pointed at Xia Luo, speechless. Some of the surrounding boys were stirring up trouble, while others genuinely tried to break up the fight. With a large crowd swarming in, it was inevitable that some would take advantage of the chaos.

Seeing the classroom descending into total disorder, Yuan Hua decisively ran out.

"Everyone, stop fighting! The class monitor has already gone to get the principal!"

At the girl's cry, the crowd scattered. By this time, the teacher had been dragged from the center of the room to the front, crawling and tumbling. His hair was a mess, his glasses were hanging by one temple, and there were footprints all over him; he looked absolutely miserable. Teacher Wang struggled, his whole body aching, and he had to lean helplessly against the cabinet. He was finished.

After the chaos, the students began to feel guilty and returned to their seats, pretending to be model students. Only Xia Luo stood on the podium with a smile on his face, seemingly still savoring the thrill.

"This is a great dream!" Xia Luo shouted, his eyes locking onto Qiu Ya, who was sitting in the front row.

The girl had been startled by the earlier riot, and now, being targeted by the culprit, she stood as frozen as a frightened deer. Xia Luo approached step by step, a wicked smirk on his lips. Suddenly, he reached out to hook his arm around Qiu Ya’s neck, ready to kiss her.

The entire class watched with wide eyes, unable to contain their excitement, waiting for the most spectacular scene to unfold. Zhang Yang was almost ready to cheer.

But just then, a slap landed on the back of Xia Luo’s head. With a crisp sound, Xia Luo collapsed to the floor, twitched once, and passed out.

The crowd froze.

Gao Ning appeared behind Xia Luo, slowly retracting his hand. "Play is play, but there should be a limit!"

This single act stunned the entire class. Gao Ning raised his hand and said, "Zhang Yang, come here and give me a hand. Take Xia Luo to the infirmary. This kid’s head is overheated; he needs to cool off!"

After speaking, Gao Ning looked back at Teacher Wang. "Someone else, help Teacher Wang get cleaned up. Everyone else, lower your heads and read your books. Act like nothing ever happened. If the principal comes to ask later, just say nothing happened!"

Seeing no one move after he finished speaking, Gao Ning’s brows tightened, and he barked, "What are you all staring at? Move!"

At his shout, the class woke from their trance. Zhang Yang immediately jumped up and helped Gao Ning drag Xia Luo out. Meng Te looked left and right, and seeing no one attending to Teacher Wang, he stood up and walked over. The others looked at one another and simultaneously picked up their books, reading aloud loudly.

No sooner had Gao Ning left than Yuan Hua rushed in with the principal and the dean.

They had expected to see a chaotic scene, but upon entering, they were met with a room full of students studiously reading. They were instantly dumbfounded. The principal and the dean were also confused; they exchanged glances and looked at Teacher Wang, who was slumped on the podium looking somewhat disheveled.

The principal let out a long sigh of relief and signaled to the dean. The two of them quietly turned and left.

Yuan Hua stood there, stunned: What... what is going on here?
