Gao Ning approached slowly, carefully observing Huang Mao’s condition. Suddenly, he reached out, grabbed Huang Mao by the hair, and hoisted him up forcibly.

For a time, Gao Ning was particularly fond of engineers, often building large numbers of troops, disarming all enemy forces, then sending several engineers into enemy buildings to seize them outright, sealing victory.

Victory always brought a strange sense of satisfaction, as if his skills had advanced to a new level.

In reality, it was all an illusion.

With a flick of his finger, the card dissolved, the white light shattered, and as if with consciousness, it coalesced before Gao Ning’s eyes, forming an engineer.

“Pleased to meet you, Commander! I am designated GCS001, currently a Level 3 Engineer. Any problems regarding mechanical modification or repair can be entrusted to me.”

The engineer was indeed exceptional, greeting him so openly upon arrival.

Gao Ning was pleased but showed no expression, simply nodding lightly.

“Come to the castle first. Stand by for now.”

The engineer saluted, strode toward Gao Ning, and with a flash of light, appeared in his palm, then slowly walked into the open door and disappeared.

The three band members were stunned.

They exchanged glances, fear creeping into their hearts, though they didn’t know why.

Gao Ning had only grabbed Huang Mao’s hair, and Huang Mao vanished instantly, then paused before whispering to the air.
