Chapter Seven: A Slight Tickling in the Tummy
I pondered for a long time, unable to figure out what was really happening, and scratched my ears with my paws in confusion.
The man before me, naturally, mounted his horse again and continued his wild ride!
I was astonished by his excessive stamina, wondering if he truly was extraordinary. So I began to patiently wait for this round to end…
Not long after, when I had devoured the third wave of vital energy, my theory was completely shattered!
Why was this man so different from what Xiao Yun had described? How could he keep going and going?
Watching Han Mingxuan begin to favor the fourth woman, I started to understand why the purple-haired woman had praised him as a “remarkable man.”
Could it be that he was simply overflowing with energy, with nowhere to vent it?
My goodness, if that’s the case, then this man is truly a treasure!
Not only would his women be blissful, but even his cat would have nothing to worry about—just stay close to him, let him find the women, and there would be no need to go out in search of soul embryos!
I hung my head in shame at such a thought.
What was I thinking? Was I actually considering how convenient it would be to be his cat!?
There was a faint pain under my collar, and I knew well that it was not merely decorative.
Perhaps… whenever my heart wavered, it punished me.
I hurriedly cleared my mind, grumbling inwardly. Honestly, my master is so petty! Controlling me so strictly, not even allowing me to think!
If I truly had a rebellious heart, I wouldn’t need to bother with these dull streams of vital energy—I’d just leave!
After a long wait, Han Mingxuan released the fourth wave of energy, which, of course, all flowed into my belly, filling me with delight!
My stomach was bloated, as if a fire was burning inside—likely too much energy for me to handle.
But my master had said that when swallowing vital energy, I could digest some of it myself, which was why I had the chance to turn into a human again.
A thin sheen of sweat covered Han Mingxuan’s body, making him gleam like an oiled plaster model.
Such a perfect physique—no wonder these women were willing to share him.
He seemed exhausted, resting on the bed for a while. The only woman who hadn’t been favored was pouting in dissatisfaction, still trying to seduce him.
The other women had settled down, their faces flushed as they lay sprawled across him.
He suddenly chuckled, glanced at me, then got out of bed.
He picked up the dissatisfied woman and headed to the bathroom.
“Stop it…” she buried her face in his chest, blushing deeply.
Though the other women seemed tired, perhaps unwilling to give up their chance to be with him, they followed him inside.
Once they were all in the bathroom, the room finally grew quiet.
It took me a long time to calm myself, covering my face as I exhaled.
My heart was still racing—after all, spying like this was truly immoral, even though they seemed aware of my gaze.
I was a cat; who would care if a cat saw them in their private moments?
But who knew that I was actually human inside—my appearance was feline, but within, I was just like them, an ordinary person!
And in my first twenty years of life, I hadn’t even watched others—let alone indulged myself in such frivolity!
The first time I went out to seek vital energy, it was with Xiao Yun’s help, nervously stealing a glance.
If not for my face being covered with white fur, I’m sure the skin beneath would have been blushing pink.
The bedroom was utterly silent, with only the faint sounds of water and playful banter from the bathroom.
I let out a long breath, shook my paws, and idly wondered where Xiao Yun was now—was she safe?
Thankfully, I had let Xiao Yun eat her fill earlier, and now I had consumed four portions myself—the first time I’d ever exceeded my quota. Truly, I owed it to this male savior!
At this moment, my feelings toward him changed for the first time. Though I still found his nature somewhat problematic, I began to feel a vague sense of gratitude.
And it was precisely because of this that I started to understand what he had meant when he tapped my nose and spoke to me earlier.
He had told me not to hold back and to eat my fill!
Was that what he meant—to let me gorge myself?
I shivered, propped myself up with my forepaws, and stared at the shadows moving in the bathroom!
I couldn’t afford a fifth helping. If I didn’t escape now, when would I?
This man was definitely not simple! Staying here could very well mean certain death!
So, using both teeth and claws, I struggled fiercely against the rope!
Perhaps it had loosened from my earlier wriggling, or maybe Han Mingxuan had some mercy and hadn’t actually tied all four of my paws.
As a highly intelligent human within, I quickly used my sharp claws to untangle the rope completely!
Passing by the bathroom, I tiptoed noiselessly, terrified of being discovered.
Inside, Han Mingxuan’s voice rang out again: “Be careful with your little tummy… Don’t let the tickling drive you crazy and come looking for me!”
Then the woman’s coquettish voice followed: “You’re so annoying…”
I shook off a wave of goosebumps, unable to bear such dramatics. A little charm in a woman was fine, but such affectation was unbearable.
Then my eyes brightened—for the door was left ajar, just a narrow slit!
I stealthily pushed the door open with my paw, glanced around to make sure no one was there, and darted out, quickly finding the hole Xiao Yun had slipped through!
Once inside, darkness enveloped me.
I didn’t know why there was a hole here, but instead of worrying about the path ahead, I let out a long sigh.
Perhaps I’d eaten too much, my stomach felt uncomfortable, and the man’s vital energy seemed so fiery that I could barely endure it.
As I thought, it felt as if dozens of mice were burrowing inside me, making me scratch incessantly with my paws!
No one else would ever know what it was like to have an itchy stomach—especially a cat’s stomach!
I lay on my back, rolling on the ground and scratching until my fur made a rasping sound.
Suddenly, faint footsteps came from nearby—soft as a cat’s tread.
And whoever it was, they were in this tiny dark hole with me.
I stopped, looked up, and met two glowing green eyes, making my heart leap—I realized it must be Xiao Yun…
“Is that you, Xiao Yun?” I whispered, staring at those eerie green eyes.
“Qianqian?” Only after hearing my voice did Xiao Yun relax, bounding toward me: “Where did you go? I was so worried! I went out and realized you hadn’t followed! Boo…”
I laughed, scratching my belly with my hind paw. “Don’t ask. I just met a man—extraordinary—somehow, I managed to eat four portions from him!”
“Four portions?” Xiao Yun blinked, stretching out her paw and counting, silly as ever. “Are you sure it was four portions from one person, not one portion from four people?”
“I’m sure.” I nodded, unable to hide my joy as I shared it with her. “I’m certain—four portions! One person produced four!”
“Oh! My god!” Xiao Yun’s eyes widened in shock, her tail flicking up and down as she muttered incredulously, “How is that possible? Why would one person produce so many? The most I’ve ever seen is the master of one of us little cats—he can gather energy once a day! That already seemed godlike to me. Are you sure you didn’t make a mistake?”
I shook my head. “No.”
As I spoke, my belly grew unbearably itchy, and I kept scratching the spot with my paw.
But this wasn’t the itch of fur and skin—it was deep inside, in my organs, making my whole body uncomfortable!
As I scratched, Xiao Yun grew curious. “Qianqian, have you caught fleas?”
“No,” I gritted my teeth, explaining as I endured it, “I think I ate too much of that man’s vital energy—it’s making me bloated…”
Seeing this, Xiao Yun couldn’t help but laugh. “You really are lucky. Our master will praise you again!”
“I wish he wouldn’t.” My hind paw kept scratching without pause.
While I spoke, a huge burp escaped my mouth, carrying a wave of heat that sprayed all over Xiao Yun’s face.
Xiao Yun looked a bit embarrassed, but glanced at my stomach, wiped her mouth with her paw, and smacked her lips.
“This vital energy is so rich—it’s far beyond the level of soul embryos, Qianqian, what did you encounter?”
I explained awkwardly, “Just a man, nothing special…”
But I was deeply suspicious, for the man had once told me to eat my fill!
I strongly suspected he knew my origins—but then again, how could a human possibly know?
Besides, these things had no rhyme or reason—if I told Xiao Yun, she wouldn’t know what to say.
Thinking about it, the smile on my face suddenly vanished, and I grew somber, recalling the teasing words I’d overheard as I slipped out the door.
He’d said—be careful with your little tummy… Don’t let the itch drive you crazy and come looking for me!
My little tummy… I looked down at my itchy, swollen belly, suddenly realizing things might not be so simple!
His words had clearly been meant for me! Every word was directed at me!!
“Xiao Yun! Quick, let’s hurry back to the master!”
I panicked, not waiting for her reply before darting away.
“Huh?” Xiao Yun was startled but followed closely, sticking to my side and asking, “What’s wrong?”
I gritted my teeth, barely able to respond, “It’s nothing!”
Xiao Yun fell silent, guiding the way as we slipped out.
But only I knew that my belly was growing itchier by the second, as if something was about to be born inside!
I started to worry—had I gotten myself into serious trouble?
