"You little rascal, you haven’t replied to any of my texts. Now that you’ve made it to university, I bet you’re letting loose and playing games all day, aren’t you!"

The dormitory was rather quiet, so everyone could clearly hear the voice coming from the other end of the line. Judging by the tone, it was obviously a woman.

"Pfft."

Qu Zheng was the first to fail to hold back a chuckle.

Next, Huang Hong grinned and said, "Don’t tell me that’s Xixi!"

Ye Yu turned and shot them a glance, his eyes as cold as could be.

"So, Ye Yu, you’re just going to stay silent, huh?"

The voice on the other end chimed in again, noticeably louder this time, having heard Ye Yu’s silence.

Ye Yu coughed lightly and replied, "I’m listening! It’s only my second day at school."

"Is that so? How’s the dorm? Is it alright?"

Ye Yu thought to himself that it was more than alright; the place felt almost like home for students.

"It’s great, really. And guess what? By sheer luck, you’ll never guess who my roommates are."

"Who?"

"Luo Feng and Qu Zheng."

"You lucky brat! To run into your old friends again at university—you should count your blessings, you idiot, that you’ve got company."

After hearing those words from the other end of the line, everyone burst into unrestrained laughter. Their delight was as wild as could be.

"Hey, Ye Lingxue, can’t you speak a little more normally?"

"Not with you, I can’t."

Ye Lingxue was Ye Yu’s older sister, also a graduate of Qing University. When Ye Yu was accepted to Qing University and got his admission letter, he’d even made a point of showing it off to her. Though Ye Lingxue always made Ye Yu feel awkward with her sharp tongue, she cared deeply for her little brother and was devoted to him.

One of the main reasons Ye Yu started playing Divine Requiem was because Ye Lingxue was already a seasoned player, well-known on the old servers. Under her influence, Ye Yu chose to take up Divine Requiem after entering Qing University.

"Have you tried Divine Requiem yet?"

Upon hearing her question, Ye Yu paused a moment, then answered with a simple "Yeah."

"I suppose, on the new server, among the rising names in the premier server, that must be you, right?"

Ye Yu could only smile helplessly. If anyone in this world understood him best, even to the point of guessing his thoughts, it was certainly this sister of his.

"I suppose so. I haven’t really paid much attention to the comments on the official forum."

Ye Lingxue let out a laugh at his response, teasing him, "See, just a little praise and you get all smug."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Alright, I’ve got something to do. I’ll be coming to Qing City in a few days, so don’t you dare run off!"

With that, Ye Lingxue hung up, leaving Ye Yu frozen, eyes wide in surprise, momentarily at a loss.

"What’s going on? Third, what’s up with you?"

Huang Hong looked at Ye Yu’s expression and couldn’t help but ask.

Qu Zheng, with a mischievous grin, stepped forward and clapped a hand on Ye Yu’s shoulder. "So, what did Lingxue say to make you look like that?"

Ye Yu shook his head, his face returning to normal. He glanced at Qu Zheng and replied with a wry smile, "She just said she’d be coming to Qing City in a few days, and might drop by to see me. That’s all."

Upon hearing this, Luo Feng’s expression turned a bit odd, as he recalled a few things about Ye Lingxue.

Ye Lingxue was a true beauty, cold as ice to those she didn’t care for, but her face would light up with emotion when it came to her brother, Ye Yu.

"If I’m not mistaken, Lingxue was also a student at Qing University, right?"

Ye Yu nodded with a rueful smile. "She’s a senior now. She’s an honorary president of just about every gaming club at Qing University thanks to Divine Requiem."

"Impressive, Third. I didn’t know you had such a background. The first day I got to Qing University, I heard about the gaming club’s honorary president—a real queen. She got in with a guaranteed spot. Tell me, did you get in that way, too?"

Tan Cong gave Ye Yu a thumbs-up as he spoke.

Soon after, the group of six left the dormitory. Ye Yu wanted to avoid further questioning and simply declared he was hungry, leading the way to the cafeteria.

Naturally, most of their conversation along the way revolved around Divine Requiem, largely because Ye Yu kept bringing it up.

Huang Hong glanced down at his phone, scrolling through the new player section of Divine Requiem’s official forum. His pupils narrowed in excitement and a look of elation spread across his face.

"Check out the new player section on the forum—it looks like we’ve made the headlines."

Everyone pulled out their phones to see for themselves, and surprise appeared on their faces.

There were at least three pinned headlines.

First: "The Xuantian Server’s Power Leveling Maniacs Lead All New Servers to Level 30."

Second: "Power Leveling Maniac Liang Ye Founds the Guild ‘Purple Illusory Realm’ and Saves the Day."

Third: "Commoners’ Power Levelers and the Saga of Rivalry with Pay-to-Win Warriors."

Each post had over ten thousand comments, and even the forum’s "Rivalries and Feuds" board had started documenting the ongoing drama between Liang Ye and Difference-of-Three-Years.

"Third, does this mean we’re famous now?" Luo Wei asked, an amused look in his eyes, hinting at a sly grin.

"No wonder that shameless Lingxue called me about all this—she must have seen the news on the forum."

After a glance, Ye Yu’s expression settled as he spoke.

"Looks like this is going to be streamed soon. Third, your fame is going to skyrocket," Luo Feng added, nodding. "When one person makes it, everyone rises with him!"

"Get lost—what’s with that saying!" Ye Yu shot back with a laugh. By then, the six had arrived at Qing University’s cafeteria. Since he’d already been there the day before, Ye Yu decided to try something new and headed for the Chinese cuisine floor, picking out a "Quick Meal" place.

"Hard to believe these Quick Meal chains have spread nationwide," Luo Feng remarked, stretching with his hands behind his head, a lollipop between his lips making his words slightly muffled but still clear.

"Quick Meal is practically the lifeline of Mythos Tech’s food business. Without their backing, Divine Requiem might never have even launched. So, in Qing University, it’s basically the only place allowed to run a quick meal restaurant," Huang Hong agreed. Divine Requiem owed its existence to Quick Meal’s bold, unprecedented investment in Mythos Tech. If their chairman hadn’t been a die-hard fan of martial arts fiction, he’d never have gambled so much money on such an uncertain venture. Not everyone would risk such a fortune on something with no guaranteed return.

The six of them found a window seat inside, each ordered a set meal, and continued their banter.

"Honestly, Third, you were incredible in that dungeon. Pulling off those maneuvers without even using your overdrive mode—I’m actually impressed. Luo Feng told me about you, and I didn’t believe him at first, but after seeing for myself, I’m convinced," Huang Hong said, tapping his chest with his fist and pointing at Ye Yu, his face the picture of admiration.

"It was just luck. I never expected to clear the dungeon with a perfect score," Ye Yu replied.

Luo Feng crossed his arms and retorted, "Always with the false modesty. I haven’t seen you in gaming mode since high school, but you’ve clearly regained your old flair. Still the same as ever—always sneaking around trying to look cool, saving the day like a hero. Everyone just set you up for it."

Despite his words, Luo Feng genuinely respected Ye Yu’s gaming talent. His teasing was mostly in jest, but what really impressed him was Ye Yu’s seamless performance in the dungeon, especially given the game’s high AI. The dungeons were far more difficult than normal monsters.

The fact that Ye Yu could dodge lethal attacks without relying on overdrive mode was impressive enough to earn endless praise.

After all, they’d taken on a dungeon above their own level. In Divine Requiem, there were plenty of top players who’d clear dungeons with a gap of ten levels or more, some even solo. That Ye Yu and his group drew attention was partly due to the new server and their level difference.

Most crucial of all was their flawless teamwork and command.
